This Policy should be read together with the Iconverse Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Creator Policy, Creator Launch Pass Terms, Community Guidelines, and all other applicable Platform policies.
1. Purpose
Creator verification helps maintain a safe, trustworthy, and authentic creator ecosystem.
Verification assists Iconverse in:
- Confirming creator identity.
- Reducing impersonation and fraud.
- Improving platform integrity.
- Supporting creator participation in eligible Platform activities.
- Meeting applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Verification is intended to confirm identity only and does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of a creator's content, reputation, popularity, or quality.
2. Eligibility
Creators may apply for verification after:
- Successfully registering an Iconverse account.
- Activating a valid Creator Launch Pass.
- Completing the required creator profile information.
- Accepting all applicable Platform policies.
Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee verification approval.
3. Information Required
To complete verification, Iconverse may request information including:
- Full legal name.
- Date of birth.
- Mobile number.
- Email address.
- Government-issued identity document.
- Selfie or live identity verification, where applicable.
- Address information, if required.
- PAN or tax information where legally required for payouts.
- Any additional information reasonably necessary for identity verification or regulatory compliance.
4. Verification Review
All verification requests are reviewed by Iconverse or its authorised verification partners.
The Company may:
- approve the verification request;
- request additional information or documents;
- reject the application if verification requirements are not satisfied.
The Company's verification decision shall be final.
5. Verified Creator Badge
Upon successful verification, eligible creators may receive a Verified Creator Badge on their Iconverse profile.
The badge indicates that the creator has completed the applicable verification process conducted by Iconverse.
The badge does not:
- certify talent or professional qualifications;
- guarantee participation in Iconverse Shows;
- guarantee brand collaborations;
- guarantee earnings, followers, or fans;
- represent endorsement by Iconverse.
6. Creator Responsibilities
Verified creators must:
- maintain accurate profile information;
- promptly update material changes to their identity or contact details;
- comply with all Platform policies;
- conduct themselves honestly and professionally;
- avoid misleading users regarding the meaning of the Verified Creator Badge.
7. Suspension or Removal of Verification
Iconverse may suspend or remove a Verified Creator Badge where:
- false or misleading information has been provided;
- verification documents are found to be inaccurate or fraudulent;
- Platform policies have been violated;
- unlawful conduct is identified;
- the creator account is suspended or terminated;
- continued verification may compromise platform integrity or user safety.
Removal of verification does not necessarily terminate the creator account.
8. Reverification
Iconverse may require creators to complete reverification from time to time for security, legal, operational, or compliance purposes.
Failure to complete a requested reverification may result in temporary suspension of verification privileges or access to certain creator features.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Verification information is collected and processed in accordance with the Iconverse Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
Verification documents are used solely for identity verification, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, payout verification where applicable, and related operational purposes.
10. No Transfer
Verification status and the Verified Creator Badge are personal to the verified creator.
They may not be transferred, sold, assigned, shared, or used by another individual or organisation.
11. Policy Updates
Iconverse may modify this Creator Verification Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
Updated versions become effective upon publication on the Platform unless otherwise specified.
Continued use of the Platform after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
